The BECKHAMS have landed in L.A. Beckham will play Chelsea, an English Premier League Club next weekend for his first game as L.A. Galaxy player where he will become the newest and the most famous star of the Galaxy. The 32-year-old midfielder signed a five-year contract with Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy in January that will earn him US$32.5 million in salary. David Beckham, who already has one youth soccer academy in Los Angeles and another one in London, hopes to increase the level of interest in the sport in the United States. Beckham can count Landon Donovan and Coby Jones as his teammates on L.A. Galaxy.
