SASHA BASIR’s existence in the entertainment and media industry has been long and an exciting one. The versatile talent has been involved in the multi-areas of the glamourous industry ranging from modelling, hosting, being a TV Producer and Floor Manager. The opportunity to work alongside Malaysian celebrities in her permanent job at TV3 has given her the chance to break into the socialite elite class of the country. She was seen recently at the engagement of Ning Baizura and Omar Shariff Layton Dayton.

Sasha Bashir started dancing at the age of four and has been going to art galleries, theatre and fashion shows since then too. She pursued her love of the arts in Australia and graduated from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts at Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Performing Arts. She came back to Malaysia in 2002 and began working at the National Theatre of Malaysia known as Istana Budaya as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Performing Arts.
