Hollywood celebrities will have to wear Indian traditional dress to attend the wedding of Elizabeth Hurley, 41 and beau Arun Nayar, a textile mogul. The couple is set to marry on March 9 this year and the ceremonies will be preceded by English nuptials at the Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire on March 3 and later in Rajasthan, India. Women attending the couple’s wedding have been told to wear a pink traditional sari and men will have to wear turbans and long tunics known as kurtas in orange. The instructions are enclosed in a detailed ‘orientation pack’ sent out with the invitations for the nuptials which will take place in both Gloucestershire and India. In the pack, the guests visiting India have been suggested to carry practical necessities such as mosquito repellent and a travel iron. Liz and Nayar will also open their own private wedding ‘shop’ at the Hilton Towers Hotel in Mumbai, which will be stocked with saris, turbans, kurtas and bindis etc.
Hurley herself is going for a traditional Indian-style £4,000 pink silk sari ($7,700) for the ceremony. The sari was designed by Tarun Tahiliani, who is best known for his modern takes on traditional Indian fabrics and styles. The ceremony will be held at the Devigarh palace in Rajasthan, western Indian desert state that is “known for its opulent palaces.”
In other related news, it was reported that David and Victoria Beckham will not be attending the function due to some personal fall out between Victoria and Liz Hurley. Once bosom buddies, the singer turned fashion label owner and actress/model are apparently no longer on speaking terms after Posh realised she was being trashed behind her back.

Liz’s wants to look super slim and wants to ensure that she fits into her size 8 Versace wedding gown. A source told Britain’s Grazia magazine, Liz, is on a diet of egg whites, vegetables and steamed fish and is also eating small quantity of white bread and folic acid to enhance her chances of having another baby this year.
