Just snippets of what’s going on today…YUSRY has been rumoured to be going out with MAYA KARIN according UTUSAN MALAYSIA. Simply because they both went to Festival Filem Malaysia ke-20 together. When asked, Yusry said that they both have been good friends and there’s nothing going on beyond that. Hmmhh..While MAWI has been promoting Darfur’s cause on TV3, requesting for donations. Celebrity perfumes anyone? In an attempt to plug the gap and finance their spending spree, the Beckhams have come up with an ingenious idea of creating their own label perfume. THE PERFUME is called INTIMATELY BECKHAM. Would you go and buy it? The scents, which sell for $25 to $55 were introduced last week in Beverly Hills and followed previous brand, INSTINCT by David Beckham. Industry’s sources say that the perfume will generate market sales in excess of USD100 million alone. The perfume will be available in two variants, FOR HIM and FOR HER. The perfumes are aspired by “the confidence of masculinity, the celebration of talent” and “it brings together supreme talent, striking flair and a smooth blend of style and masculinity”. But trust me, the smell is just of the usual concoctions of musk and bergamot etc..These words are just marketing gibberish..hehe..

Paris Hilton just released her own clothing and continues to expand her empire. The heiress, author, singer, perfume designer and reality-TV star unveiled her namesake clothing line Thursday at Kitson, a trendy boutique known for its celebrity clientele. Clad in a gold sequin mini-dress, Paris Hilton, 26, emerged from a black SUV to a throng of fans who spilled into the street. Police and city workers were called in to handle the crowd and a lane of traffic was closed for pedestrians’ safety. Paris’ fashion collection, which includes dresses, blouses, t-shirts and jeans in lots of metallics, shine and sparkle, ranges between $30 to $130. Hilton follows in similar footsteps of Kate Moss & Victoria Beckham. Hmm to me, you girls out there would be far better off buying stuff from ClubSeventeen or Topshop! Girls you don’t want to want to dress up like a thrash persona! Teenage celebrities that catch my fancy in terms of their clothing are HILLARY DUFF and AMANDA BYNES. DUFF’s style is trendy, bright, and eye-catching, yet still somehow wholesome. Impak Maksima Film - Malaysia’s Very Own Drift Movie, Fast But Not Furious Enough?

IMPAK MAKSIMA, a film directed by Ahmad Idham tries to portray the local drift scene. Throwing Eizlan Yusof (Johari), Awal Ashaari (Ayie), Zulhuzaimi (Ray) and Dynaz (Inspektor Maria) as the main bets. The movie will feature a Nissan-powered rear-wheel drive waja. Ayie, a college student with a knack for racing, meets and falls for a gorgeous new girl in college (Eva Liyana). His time spent with her is less time spent on illegal races but however, his best friend Amran (Opie Zami) decides to accept a racing challenge from Ray, who sealed the deal with a RM5,000 bet. Amran loses the race and in the commotion, the police manage to detain Ayie. With Ayie’s help, the police plan to take down Ray and his illegal activities with one last heart-pounding race. So hero Ayielah dalam cerita nie..But the movie only use very limited cars. IMPAK MAKSIMA will be out in cinemas at Thursday, 23rd August 2007.

You may see Salina in GERAK KHAS and CID 3278 and recently was picked by DATUK YUSOF HASLAM to act in the TV EPISODE of PASRAH. She will be playing the role of NATASHA, the bad girl who previously undertaken by WILMA MOHAMAD. Wilma now is wearing hijab and her inclination is slightly different. Alhamdullillah.
